What we do
Surendra Hospital began its service in 1981 as a 30 bedded facility to introduce big city healthcare services to Cuddalore and the surrounding rural areas. It was the wish of Dr. Pa. Rajendiran M.B.B.S., D.C.H. and his wife Dr.R. Thenmozhi M.B.B.S., DGO to bring the latest in healthcare to their people and Surendra Hospital was the culmination of their efforts in this direction. Though small, our hospital was a powerhouse of healthcare services and in due course we expanded in a phased manner.
The first expansion was in 2017. We added 20 beds and opened an additional Operation Theater to increase our service capacity.
